The Lumatek 30W UV Supplemental LED Bar offers an addition to the light spectrum for growers looking to improve the quality of their crop through the inclusion of UV output during the flowering stage. Designed to fit directly into popular Lumatek Zeus LED fixtures, this unit has an integrated power supply unit and can also be daisy-chained.

Create a complete premium fruit or flower using ultraviolet signaling on your grow. This technology is a powerful tool for growers interested in creating a unique final crop, affecting its taste, smell and increasing the main substance to be extracted up to 30%. It will also help control mold growth with gentle doses of UV-B and reducing the need for UV-A chemicals.

This unique device has been specially designed to deliver the ideal UV-B [280-315nm] and UV-A [315-400nm] radiation doses to your plants based on scientific support. A single device can provide 2.2 kJ/day (12 hours) of UV-B energy and 518 kJ/day (12 hours) of UV-A output. This results in a fixture power of 100mW UV-B and 12000mW UVA. Lumatek warrants that this fixture does not produce UV-C radiation. Integrate this technology with frames from the Lumatek Zeus LED range and follow the guidelines on our Grow Light strategies.

The daisy chain will allow you to easily connect multiple devices. To ensure the performance of the unit, this LED bar has a single input and output socket for the power cord or daisy chain depending on the use of this bar. For this reason the Power (4m) and Daisy Chain (1,5m) cables are sold separately.

Precautions

The LUMATEK 30W UV Supplementary LED Bar is a piece of equipment that provides a spectrum of electromagnetic radiation UVB (near UV Erythemal) and UVA (near UV-black light) with wavelengths from 280 to 400 nm.

To avoid any biological effect in the physical human body, please turn off the power during installation and/and during maintenance processes on your grow system.

If it is not possible to turn off the UV bars, all exposed skin should be covered with an opaque material, including the face, neck, head, hands and damage. It is assumed that other parts of the body are covered if appropriate laboratory clothing is worn. Example, long pants, closed shoes, gloves, long-sleeved lab coats, and goggles.

Do not look directly into the light as the UVB radiation from the lamp can damage your eyes and skin.

Do not restrict the airflow through the fixtures to avoid heat buildup which could drastically shorten the life of your UV supplemental LED bars.

Do not touch the UV Supplemental LED Bar to any surface while it is still on.

Use only on plants.
